The engine is like the heart to a motor as well as the source of  energy needed for riding. That the sense of riding is determined by  the engine is not a exaggerated saying.

Motors of small displacement(under 250CC) can run freely and let  the rider enjoy the sense of easy control due to the full use of  their lightweight and simplified body. Though they can't match  motors of big displacemnt in PWR, motors of small displacement can  brake faster because of their lighter weight and shorter brake  distance, thus they perform better in turning speed.

Road condition sometimes makes drivers bored, but riders can enjoy  the thrill of engine being fully throttled up and performing at its  best. That is to say, motors of small displacement are easier to  get control of and can perform better in a skilled rider's hand.  However, if a rider ignores safety for its easy control, riding a  motor of small displacement can also result in a sever accident. 

The engine effects the performance more of motorcycles than  automobiles. Different engines bring different sense of riding. You  can certainly feel the joy and charm of motorcycles more deeply  after trying driving motors of different displacements. Should  there be a chance, don't hesitate to try riding motors of different  displacements yourself.
